We are looking for a Technical Payments Analyst who will own payment gateway logic, routing, and transaction stability, directly impacting approval rates and business performance. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own the gateway configuration: create/maintain PSP/acquirer connections, add MIDs, manage environments, roles, and notifications.
- Optimize logic: maintain and improve routing/cascading, and safe retry/failover policies.
- Payments analytics: monitor pass rate by project/channel, analyze declines, recommend fixes, track impact via Tableau/Power BI.
- Reporting: keep monthly summaries; keep wiki up to date.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Hands-on gateway setup & operations: configure MIDs and provider connections inside the gateway, set up routing/cascading, tune 3DS/SCA, define controlled retry/failover, move configs from sandbox to live.
- Tools & data: strong Excel/Sheets; basic Tableau/Power BI for data analysis; Jira/Confluence.
- Payments Domain Knowledge: understands approval rate, soft/hard/tech declines, BIN/issuer splits; can design a simple A/B test.
