Senior Symfony Developer (Freelance)

Designing project architecture in PHP, including database design.
Supporting and maintaining existing projects.
Communicating with the client to define technical requirements.
Collaborating with the development team (back-end/front-end, QA, PM).
Ensuring compliance with technical requirements and delivering high-quality code.

PHP 8+: deep knowledge, strong OOP, SOLID, design patterns, 5+ years of experience.
Symfony 6/7: experience building complex solutions using the framework; experience with EasyAdmin is a plus.
MySQL / PostgreSQL: indexes, normalization, query optimization.
Redis / Memcached: caching, queues.
Docker: ability to configure environments for development/production, docker-compose. Git.
API Development: creating REST/JSON APIs, API authentication.
Testing: PHPUnit.
Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JS: semantics, responsive layout, vanilla JS (event handling, AJAX, DOM API).
CI/CD: basic knowledge of GitLab CI or similar tools.
Composer, PSR standards.
Very important: good communication skills and stress resistance!
Also important: responsibility, attention to detail, analytical mindset, professionalism, proactivity, and being a team player.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Kafka / RabbitMQ.
Basic knowledge of Webpack.
Experience with Vue/React.
