Senior Manual Backend QA Engineer

  • We are looking for a Senior Manual Backend QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, stability, and scalability of our platform, working closely with developers and product managers in a single, tightly-knit team where quality truly matters.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform manual testing of backend systems, including APIs, databases, and business logic.
  • Run smoke, sanity, and regression testing to ensure product stability at every release.
  • Create and maintain clear and useful test documentation that actually supports the team.
  • Test internal company products, such as admin panels or CRM systems and internal tools.
  • Conduct thorough bug investigation, identifying root causes rather than just surface issues.
  • Produce high-quality bug reports.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • 3+ years of experience in backend manual testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger).
  • Experience with Proxy Debugging Tools such as Charles, Fiddler, Postman, or similar.
  • Confident work with databases: MongoDB Compass (querying, editing, deleting data) and PostgreSQL.
  • Understanding and practical experience with A/B testing.
  • Experience working with analytics tools: Grafana/ClickHouse/DataGrip/Amplitude/AppsFlyer.
  • Knowledge of installation testing, including organic installs and non-organic installs.
  • Experience testing mobile applications (iOS / Android).
