- We’re building a full-stack fintech platform for any type of online business, combining a gateway, PSP, ISO, Fraud detection, CB prevention alerts, and acquiring capabilities. There are no handoffs, no BS, and just one team that handles everything related to the Payments domain.

- We’re now hiring our first Senior Java Developer (Core Services) to help define how the system runs at scale. This is a chance to get in early, write foundational code, and ship a real product that handles real money.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Designing and implementing core backend services for high-performance, complex distributed systems.
- Driving and using modern development practices (TDD/BDD) would be highly beneficial.
- Owning service design and APIs for internal teams and external integrations.
- Writing clear, modern, well-tested code.
- Collaborating across teams in a product-driven environment.
- Conducting thoughtful code reviews and mentoring mid-level engineers.
- Taking ownership of key tech decisions, building for scale, optimizing for throughput.
- Documenting your work clearly so others can build on it.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
- Deep understanding of backend systems: architecture, API design, scaling.
- Some experience with gRPC or API-first design would be great (but not required).
- Fluency in Java and distributed systems design — you know how to handle concurrency, retries, and consistency in high-throughput environments.
- Strong with Postgres — you model data well, write fast queries, and keep it consistent under load.
- Highly motivated self-starter who values autonomy and getting things done.
- Clear communication, async-friendly, not afraid to challenge ideas.
- Awareness of CI/CD workflows — you can deploy your own code and handle basic infra tasks when needed.
- Payment knowledge is a big plus, especially around routing, retries, and subscriptions.
