Retention Manager Middle

  • We’re looking for a Retention Manager to join our partner team!
  • If you enjoy combining data, creativity, and a bit of growth hacking — this role is for you. You’ll be responsible for bringing users back to our mobile apps and keeping them engaged. Your mission will be to build effective communication through push notifications and emails, run experiments, work with analytics, and optimize key metrics to boost user retention. We’re looking for a detail-oriented specialist with strong analytical thinking, structured approach, and a knack for finding creative solutions.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Planning and launching regular and one-time push and email campaigns (taking into account US time zones and quiet hours).
  • Personalizing messages based on user behavior and their stage of interaction with the product.
  • Configuring automated scenarios (welcome flow, N-day inactivity, pre/post-renewal, reactivation).
  • A/B testing: hypotheses, launch, analysis of results.
  • Optimization of key metrics: open rate, CTR, conversion, retention.
  • Building and maintaining email channel infrastructure (ESP selection, domain configuration, IP warm-up, templates, suppression lists).
  • Collaboration with the development team to configure event/tag schema, frequency limits, deep link integration.
  • Compliance control (CAN-SPAM, consent, unsubscribe, Apple/Google/OneSignal).
  • Analytics and regular reporting on key metrics.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Push: experience with OneSignal (must have), understanding of FCM/APNs, permissions, quiet hours.
  • Email: ESP (SendGrid/SES/Mailgun), domain authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC), database management.
  • Campaign Management: segmentation, A/B testing, frequency caps, push vs email balance.
  • Analytics: Google Sheets, knowledge of SQL is a plus. Full funnel tracking: from sent messages to final conversion.
  • Subscription products: experience with trial-to-paid, churn win-back, renewal (RevenueCat or similar).
  • Copywriting: concise texts in English (US market).
  • Tracking: UTM, deep links, Firebase/Amplitude/Mixpanel, MMPs (AppsFlyer/Adjust).
  • English level: B2 written, intermediate spoken.
  • Attention to detail and high-quality QA before delivery.
  • Structured thinking and ability to build multi-step scenarios.
  • Analytical and data-driven.
  • Initiative and proactivity.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with different teams.
  • Flexibility in working with different types of products.
  • Focus on quick results without compromising quality.
