Currently, we are looking for a Proofreading Team Lead to join our product IT company Honeytech, which is developing a platform in the webcomics industry and producing unique content for it.

Honeytech is a dynamic, fast-growing project that has already become #1 in its niche! Imagine Netflix, but for comics — in just a few years, we’ve gathered over 15 million users, challenged giants from South Korea, and proven that it’s possible to build a world-class product from Ukraine.

Leading and managing a team of proofreaders, distributing workload, monitoring deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards across all titles.
Reviewing and proofreading scripts, improving grammar, readability, dialogue naturalness, and character voice consistency.
Providing detailed feedback to proofreaders and writers to continuously improve content quality.
Mentoring and developing team members, supporting their professional growth.
Monitoring team performance and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
Participating in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluation of proofreaders.
Maintaining clear communication between the proofreading team and other departments.
Contributing to the development and improvement of editorial processes and quality standards.

Has experience managing a team of proofreaders and understands workload distribution, team organization, and performance management.
Has Advanced English proficiency with strong grammar, punctuation, spelling, and stylistic skills.
Has experience editing scripts, including storytelling, pacing, character voice consistency, and understanding narrative structures.
Has strong proofreading and copy-editing expertise and can ensure dialogues sound natural and fit characters’ personalities, age, and social background.
Has experience managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Has experience working with Google Docs, Figma, and task management tools.
Has experience building or improving editorial processes and quality assurance standards.
