What you’ll be focusing on:
- Own and lead the Web Analytics direction across our products, ensuring data quality, reliability and business value generation.
- Define and drive the web analytics strategy, standards and best practices.
- Proactively identify gaps in tracking and propose improvements to analytics infrastructure.
- Drive strategic initiatives such as server-side tracking, monitoring and data quality improvements.
- Work across Analytics, Product, Development and Marketing teams (SEO, PPC) to ensure a unified approach to measurement.
- Map and analyze customer journeys to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for optimisation.
- Perform deep-dive analyses and ad hoc research to understand customer behavior, site performance and product interaction.
- Translate data into actionable recommendations that influence product and business decisions.
- Communicate findings and insights through presentations, reports and dashboards.
- Provide analytical support for product development.
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in Web Analytics, preferably in e-commerce or product companies.
- Have excellent knowledge of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Measurement Protocol, browser dev tools, data layer and cookies.
- Have experience with server-side GTM.
- Have strong SQL skills and experience with Google BigQuery.
- Have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Have experience with BI and data visualization tools.
- Have a good understanding of product metrics, funnels, retention and unit economics.
- Have experience identifying measurement gaps and proposing improvements to analytics infrastructure.
- Understand data quality principles and take ownership of tracking reliability.
