Data Engineer

We’re looking for a Data Engineer to build a stable and scalable analytical data processing system.

Honeytech is the world’s largest non-Asian vertically integrated platform for the production and distribution of webtoon comics. Over the past three years, we’ve built a strong team of talented professionals, grown more than 20x, and plan to double our scale again this year. That’s why we’re now looking for a new teammate to help us take the next big step forward.

Remote Full-Time | Analytics

Building, monitoring, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Integrating new data sources (APIs, databases, files, events).
Extracting data from advertising platforms (Meta, Google Ads, and others), processing it, and preparing datasets for analytical reports.
Optimizing the Data Warehouse.
Implementing data quality processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Collaborating with analysts on daily tasks and project-based initiatives.

Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience building ETL/ELT processes using Airflow, DBT, and Prefect.
Practical understanding of Git and version control workflows.
Ability to see the business context behind tasks and understand how data is used across business units.
Nice to have: experience with data extraction from advertising platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads), and familiarity with Google Cloud or BigQuery.
English level: Intermediate or higher.
Personal qualities: structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
