We are looking for a Data Engineer to design, build, and scale a reliable data infrastructure that supports data ingestion, storage, and preparation from multiple internal and external sources. This role is strongly focused on technical data delivery, reliability, and data quality, working closely with Analytics, Product, Finance, and other business teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design, build, and maintain reliable ETL / ELT data pipelines.
- Ingest data from multiple internal and external sources (APIs, event-based systems).
- Ensure data freshness, availability, and pipeline reliability using orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).
- Implement automated data quality checks and monitor data consistency.
- Prepare clean, analytics-ready datasets for Analysts and Data Scientists.
- Work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (Analytics, Product, Finance, Business) - a significant part of the role involves communication, alignment on requirements, data definitions, and explaining data limitations or inconsistencies.
- Maintain clear documentation and monitor data infrastructure costs.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
- Advanced SQL.
- Python for data pipelines and integrations.
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).
- Experience with API-based data ingestion.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data reliability, and data delivery best practices.
- Experience with Git and basic containerization (e.g. Docker).
- Nice to Have:
- Experience with affiliate, marketing, or performance data.
- Event-based or postback-driven data ingestion.
- Experience optimizing cloud data infrastructure costs.
- Experience with GCP.
