Information Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Manager to join our IT product company. As an Information Security Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our company's digital assets and ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect our systems, networks, and data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Design and implement security controls and measures to protect the company's networks, systems, and data.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents, conducting investigations as necessary and implementing remedial actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the development lifecycle of our products.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for employees.
  • Liaise with external auditors, customers, and partners on security-related matters.
  • Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and consultants.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends to make recommendations for enhancements to the company's security posture.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

  • In-depth knowledge of information security principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of network security, encryption technologies, and secure coding practices.
  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
  • Experience in designing and implementing security controls for cloud-based environments.
  • Knowledge of incident response procedures and disaster recovery planning.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the technology industry.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
